When the Bohinj valley opens up at Stara Fu\u017eina, you have Lake Bohinj in front of you. On the oposite side, 20 km towards West, the river Sava Bohinjska enters the river from the spectacular waterfall, Slap Savica. The area is within Triglav National Park; one of the oldest in Europe. The lake is very deap with rather cold water. It is 5 km wide. Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia (2864 m MSL), is located North of the lake together with the popular Vogar area. When the Bohinj valley opens up at Stara Fu\u017eina, you have Lake Bohinj in front of you. On the oposite side, 20 km towards West, the river Sava Bohinjska enters the river from the spectacular waterfall, Slap Savica. The area is within Triglav National Park; one of the oldest in Europe. The lake is very deap with rather cold water. It is 5 km wide. Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia (2864 m MSL), is located North of the lake together with the popular Vogar area. When the Bohinj valley opens up at Stara Fu\u017eina, you have Lake Bohinj in front of you. On the oposite side, 20 km towards West, the river Sava Bohinjska enters the river from the spectacular waterfall, Slap Savica. The area is within Triglav National Park; one of the oldest in Europe. The lake is very deap with rather cold water. It is 5 km wide. Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia (2864 m MSL), is located North of the lake together with the popular Vogar area.
