Focus right now is to create new works for the approaching Easter exhibition at Skogdala. However, a look out over the sea made the temptation to take out the camera prevail.<br><br>The dark grey sky is covered with thick clouds and the water along the horizon is almost black. The water surface is covered with white patches of ice. Further inland, there is a thick ice floe that slowly bobs up and down in time with the sea&#8217;s swells. Closest to the shore, the ice is tightly packed with a wavy, uneven surface. Thoughts inevitably go to the Arctic ice expanses. Out at the ice edge, the sea continues to push up new ice while parts of the ice edge &#8220;calve&#8221; and fall into the water. It is a few degrees above zero, so the ice is softening. It is best to be careful where you put your feet. It is an awesome scene, but it is difficult to capture in the flat poor light.<br><br>The weather forecast indicates increasing winds from east to northeast; sharply falling temperatures and more snow. SMHI has issued a yellow warning. This weekend there is some sun on the weather maps. It will be very exciting to see how this develops.<br><br>The last time we experienced a similar ice phenomenon in Han\u00f6 Bay was in 2018. Then we were able to walk on the unevenly packed ice about 100 m out from the shore. in the \u201cdigital darkroom\u201d. Focus right now is to create new works for the approaching Easter exhibition at Skogdala. However, a look out over the sea made the temptation to take out the camera prevail.<br><br>The dark grey sky is covered with thick clouds and the water along the horizon is almost black. The water surface is covered with white patches of ice. Further inland, there is a thick ice floe that slowly bobs up and down in time with the sea's swells. Closest to the shore, the ice is tightly packed with a wavy, uneven surface. Thoughts inevitably go to the Arctic ice expanses. Out at the ice edge, the sea continues to push up new ice while parts of the ice edge \"calve\" and fall into the water. It is a few degrees above zero, so the ice is softening. It is best to be careful where you put your feet. It is an awesome scene, but it is difficult to capture in the flat poor light.<br><br>The weather forecast indicates increasing winds from east to northeast; sharply falling temperatures and more snow. SMHI has issued a yellow warning. This weekend there is some sun on the weather maps. It will be very exciting to see how this develops.<br><br>The last time we experienced a similar ice phenomenon in Han\u00f6 Bay was in 2018. Then we were able to walk on the unevenly packed ice about 100 m out from the shore. N\u00e4rmast stranden \u00e4r isen h\u00e5rt packad med en v\u00e5gformad oj\u00e4mn yta. Tankarna g\u00e5r os\u00f6kt till de arktiska isvidderna. Ute vid iskanten forts\u00e4tter havet att pressa upp ny is samtidigt som delar av iskanten \u201dkalvar\u201d och faller ner i vattnet. Det \u00e4r n\u00e5gon plusgrad s\u00e5 isen mjuknar se det g\u00e4ller att vara f\u00f6rsiktig med var man s\u00e4tter f\u00f6tterna. SMHI har utf\u00e4rdat gul varning. I helgen finns det en del sol p\u00e5 v\u00e4derkartorna. Focus right now is to create new works for the approaching Easter exhibition at Skogdala. However, a look out over the sea made the temptation to take out the camera prevail.<br><br>The dark grey sky is covered with thick clouds and the water along the horizon is almost black. The water surface is covered with white patches of ice. Further inland, there is a thick ice floe that slowly bobs up and down in time with the sea's swells. Closest to the shore, the ice is tightly packed with a wavy, uneven surface. Thoughts inevitably go to the Arctic ice expanses. Out at the ice edge, the sea continues to push up new ice while parts of the ice edge \"calve\" and fall into the water. It is a few degrees above zero, so the ice is softening. It is best to be careful where you put your feet. It is an awesome scene, but it is difficult to capture in the flat poor light.<br><br>The weather forecast indicates increasing winds from east to northeast; sharply falling temperatures and more snow. SMHI has issued a yellow warning. This weekend there is some sun on the weather maps. It will be very exciting to see how this develops.<br><br>The last time we experienced a similar ice phenomenon in Han\u00f6 Bay was in 2018. Then we were able to walk on the unevenly packed ice about 100 m out from the shore.
