Here at Forsefall was Forsem\u00f6lla (Forse mill), an enclosed farmhouse with grain and fulling mills. The farm was destroyed by fire in the morning 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May 1934 and it was never rebuilt. It was a windy day and the fire was probably caused by sparks from igniting the thatched roof. Down the stream is Str\u00e4ntem\u00f6lla (Str\u00e4nte mill), first documented in the 14<sup>th<\/sup> century, i.e. one of the oldest watermills in Sweden. It was in operation until 1969. R\u00f6rum\u2019s Backar are as spectacular as the more famous Br\u00f6sarp\u2019s Backar a few kilometres north from here. The forests are dominated by big robust leafy trees with light green foliage. The hilly farming area forms an exiting open landscape with delimiting stone fences. Here at Forsefall was Forsem\u00f6lla (Forse mill), an enclosed farmhouse with grain and fulling mills. The farm was destroyed by fire in the morning 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May 1934 and it was never rebuilt. It was a windy day and the fire was probably caused by sparks from igniting the thatched roof. Down the stream is Str\u00e4ntem\u00f6lla (Str\u00e4nte mill), first documented in the 14<sup>th<\/sup> century, i.e. one of the oldest watermills in Sweden. It was in operation until 1969. R\u00f6rum\u2019s Backar are as spectacular as the more famous Br\u00f6sarp\u2019s Backar a few kilometres north from here. The forests are dominated by big robust leafy trees with light green foliage. The hilly farming area forms an exiting open landscape with delimiting stone fences. H\u00e4r vid Forsefall l\u00e5g en g\u00e5ng Forsem\u00f6lla, en kringbyggd fyrl\u00e4ngad sk\u00e5neg\u00e5rd med kvarn och vadmallsstamp f\u00f6r tillverkning av ylletyger. Den 23 maj 1934 brann g\u00e5rden ner och byggdes aldrig upp igen. Det var kraftig vind vid tillf\u00e4llet och man tror att gnistor satte fyr p\u00e5 halmtaket. Nerstr\u00f6ms ligger Str\u00e4ntem\u00f6lla som har anor fr\u00e5n 1300-talet. En av Sveriges \u00e4ldsta vattenkvarnar och som drevs fram till 1969. Clear blue sky with a pleasant warming sun. Under the trees, light is tender and the birds\u2019 song intensive. In the shadow lays the millpond dark and mysterious. The water surface is calm awaiting the adventure in the canal rapids with the vertical rocks. Bear\u2019s garlic is in bloom with strong onion smell. Here at Forsefall was Forsem\u00f6lla (Forse mill), an enclosed farmhouse with grain and fulling mills. The farm was destroyed by fire in the morning 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May 1934 and it was never rebuilt. It was a windy day and the fire was probably caused by sparks from igniting the thatched roof. Down the stream is Str\u00e4ntem\u00f6lla (Str\u00e4nte mill), first documented in the 14<sup>th<\/sup> century, i.e. one of the oldest watermills in Sweden. It was in operation until 1969. R\u00f6rum\u2019s Backar are as spectacular as the more famous Br\u00f6sarp\u2019s Backar a few kilometres north from here. The forests are dominated by big robust leafy trees with light green foliage. The hilly farming area forms an exiting open landscape with delimiting stone fences. Nowadays, here are grazing animals but also apple orchards on the slopes and in the valleys.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:kadence\/advancedheading -->\n\n<!-- wp:kadence\/image
