New Years Eve was windy and grey with low clouds. Not very good conditions for fireworks. Winds from east pushed the sea against the shores of Han\u00f6 Bay. After a few days with dropping temperatures and snow fall, the eastern wind increased in strength. Protective glasses made it possible for us to watch the power of nature on our short visits to the beach. We hardly saved the bench from the hungry waves. The remaining piece of land is too narrow for visitors. With great fascination, he told us about the ever-changing sea landscape. Now it reminds him how it was 60 years ago, when he as a kid jumped into the water from the top of the forts. We are presumably watching the natural cycles of change that Han\u00f6 Bay is constantly undergoing. The far going climate changes have unfortunately introduce new parameters with unwanted consequences. We wish that the sea and the waves will bring back some of the lost sand to smoothen the shore and form foundation for new plants. New Years Eve was windy and grey with low clouds. Not very good conditions for fireworks. Winds from east pushed the sea against the shores of Han\u00f6 Bay. After a few days with dropping temperatures and snow fall, the eastern wind increased in strength. Protective glasses made it possible for us to watch the power of nature on our short visits to the beach. We hardly saved the bench from the hungry waves. The remaining piece of land is too narrow for visitors. With great fascination, he told us about the ever-changing sea landscape. Now it reminds him how it was 60 years ago, when he as a kid jumped into the water from the top of the forts. We are presumably watching the natural cycles of change that Han\u00f6 Bay is constantly undergoing. The far going climate changes have unfortunately introduce new parameters with unwanted consequences. We wish that the sea and the waves will bring back some of the lost sand to smoothen the shore and form foundation for new plants. De ostliga vindarna tryckte \u00e5terigen upp havsytan mot Han\u00f6buktens str\u00e4nder. Efter n\u00e5gon dag med sjunkande temperatur och sn\u00f6fall, \u00e5terkom vinden med f\u00f6rnyad kraft. Skyddsglas\u00f6gon kr\u00e4vdes f\u00f6r att se n\u00e5got vid v\u00e5ra korta bes\u00f6k p\u00e5 strandkanten. Nu p\u00e5minner stranden honom om hur den var f\u00f6r 60 \u00e5r sedan n\u00e4r han som barn kunde hoppa fr\u00e5n forten ner i vattnet. F\u00f6rmodligen bevittnar vi Han\u00f6buktens naturliga f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringscykler. De p\u00e5g\u00e5ende klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringarna har dock f\u00f6rt in nya parametrar med potentiellt o\u00f6nskade konsekvenser. V\u00e5r f\u00f6rhoppning \u00e4r \u00e4nd\u00e5 att havet ska \u00e5terf\u00f6ra en del av den f\u00f6rlorade sanden s\u00e5 att de branta strandkanterna j\u00e4mnas ut och ny v\u00e4xtlighet kan spira. New Years Eve was windy and grey with low clouds. Not very good conditions for fireworks. Winds from east pushed the sea against the shores of Han\u00f6 Bay. After a few days with dropping temperatures and snow fall, the eastern wind increased in strength. Protective glasses made it possible for us to watch the power of nature on our short visits to the beach. We hardly saved the bench from the hungry waves. The remaining piece of land is too narrow for visitors. With great fascination, he told us about the ever-changing sea landscape. Now it reminds him how it was 60 years ago, when he as a kid jumped into the water from the top of the forts. We are presumably watching the natural cycles of change that Han\u00f6 Bay is constantly undergoing. The far going climate changes have unfortunately introduce new parameters with unwanted consequences. We wish that the sea and the waves will bring back some of the lost sand to smoothen the shore and form foundation for new plants.
