It happens in very rare occasions that the Baltic Sea in Hanö Bay in southeast Sweden freezes to ice. Especially when the wind comes from East and “snow canons” are spraying snow towards land. The result is a very spectacular ice landscape that is normally found only around the poles of the Earth. The photographs are from early 2018 and 2021.
