Our modern consumer society is based on an ever-increasing consumption of developed products that are manufactured from the earth’s finite raw materials. The consequences of manufacturing and the increasing landfills of discontinued products are a growing problem. Although garbage collection and recycling are increasing, the imbalance is astronomical. Too much hazardous waste ends up in nature.

As a photographer, it is easy to stop in front of foreign objects in our beautiful nature. Sometimes it is a foreign element in a picturesque environment. At other times, it is a testimony to human stupidity.

This gallery collects photographs of scrap found in nature. Foreign objects that do not belong to nature, but end up radiating a certain beauty.
