This year’s art tour during Easter was a great success with over 400 visitors and some sales. More than we expected; especially considering that we were the only exhibitors at Skogdala. Many factors contributed to the result. Many visitors found us through the group exhibition in Olseröd’s Byastuga. The farm shop sold eel, salmon and herring. The serving offered fried herring on dark bread and grilled sausages. Marketing in newspapers, on social media, this website and Google MAP guided visitors to Skogdala.

The exhibition was built around different themes that brought together photographs with something in common. This year’s themes were:
Light – Photography means “drawing with light”. It is the direct or reflected light that is captured by the camera and that the photographer transfers to the printed images in the exhibition.
Rust – Photographs from the boat cemetery on Tjurkö and the car cemetery in Ryd show remnants of our civilization that are slowly breaking down and being taken over by nature.
Monochrome – Traditionally, it was the chemical processes and the light-sensitive material that determined the appearance of the finished photograph. Similar images can also be created with digital technology.
Hanöbukten – Photography is a “hunt for light” and Hanöbukten offers the very best conditions for photographers and artists.
A little of everything – Beautiful photographs from different parts of the world.
