A new goal is to publish a photograph every week together with a short text.

This week’s picture is from a summer evening at Hanö Bay. The coast at  Hanö Bay is known for the fabulous sunrises and moonrises. Watching the sun and moon rise out of the sea in the east and move across the firmament is powerful. At least as spectacular is the light in the evenings when the sun sets in the west. The clouds in the sky turn pink as the sun’s rays slowly disappear. This summer picture is the view north from Rigeleje towards Åhus. The sun is setting in the northwest.

The dim light causes the details to blur. Instead, it is the subject’s surfaces and colors that build up the image.
